San Antonio to San Marcos

General Information

The foundation of Interurban service was to meet the needs of Texas State students traveling between Austin, San Antonio and San Marcos.  Because we now strive to provide viable weekday transportation which meets the needs of the general public traveling along the IH 35 corridor between Austin and San Antonio, (including those traveling from the San Antonio service area to San Marcos), there are three levels of service provided over the course of the year based on historic passenger demand:

Level of Service Schedules

Full Service Schedule: which is operated Monday through Thursday during the Spring Texas State class schedule (starting January 17th to May 9th).

Friday Service Schedule:  operates on Friday during the Spring and Fall Texas State class schedule

Reduced Service:  operating during campus holidays and semester breaks; BTI San Antonio reduced service is the same frequency as Friday service.

We will operate full service, (and full Friday service) between January 17 and May 9, 2012.  Reduced Service operates between December 15, 2011 to January 13, 2012, (closed December 23, 30 and January 16), and March 12 - 16, 2012.
