Greetings:

Welcome to the Bobcat Tram.  We provide City and Campus routes which are designed to serve the campus of Texas State and densely populated areas in San Marcos.  Our goal is to reduce the demand for parking and congestion on campus.

BT Interurban provides service to Texas State commuters and the general public between Austin and San Antonio, making stops in Kyle, San Marcos, and New Braunfels. This alternative transportation service provides a connection to Capital Metro serving Austin and VIA serving San Antonio.

Service for Spring Semester 2012

Summary System Maps:

Service is provided for City & Campus routes between January 17 - May 9, 2012

Real-time bus information:

We have been working to develop a system which will allow our passengers to see when the bus will arrive at their bus stop.  Whether waiting for your bus to arrive for your trip to campus; on campus; or in Austin or San Antonio for our BTI riders, you will be able to see when the next bus will arrive at your stop throughout the service day.

Go to the NextBus website to see how this technology works then check our the Realtime web page on your computer or web capable phone to see when the next bus arrives at your bus stop.

You can access this technology from any smart phone or cell phones which are web capable.  There are also options to text information back to your phone.  You will also find QR codes at many major stops on and off campus; scan these codes to link to arrival times for buses at these locations as an additional quick option to find out when the next bus will arrive at your bus stop.

BT Interurban:

All BTI service Maps and Schedules are available on the BTI service page.  City and Campus maps linked above provide a visual overview for bus routes and service stops.
